Thumpersniper
Hi, My shooting buddy has a Sako quad in .22rf, we both applied for variations at the same time and mine came back and his didnt! He's rang the licencing and they said they couldnt understand why he required a barrel! He applied for a WMR barrel and moderator for his Sako so he can have both calibers and save buying two guns, it will just be a zero change. I was wondering if any of you guys have sako quads with different barrels on your licenses? and how do you find the zero change? cheers
bicykillgaz
sounds like it would be a complete pain in the **** to me mate having to take a scope off and re-zero it everytime, cant you have two scopes both with rings on so you just drop the scope on with the appropriate barrel to save re-zeroing? Thumpersniper
yes that could be an option for him, probably less hassle if he just bought a sepperate rifle to be honest, except it would be more expensive...
Aldo
If you use the right size (small enough) scope then you can swop the barrels without removing the scope. Have a search on Airgun BBS 'cos I know I've seen it on there. Edit .. Here's one .. http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/showthread...light=sako+quad Cheers Hi, My shooting buddy has a Sako quad in .22rf, we both applied for variations at the same time and mine came back and his didnt! Aldo
My .22RF is down as Calibre ".22RF" Make "Sako" Type "Rifle" Action "Bolt Action" Id No "Id No" My 17 Mach2 is down as Calibre ".17Mach2" Make "Sako" Type "Rifle" Action "N/A" Id No "Id No" So basically they put one barrel down as the barrel that goes with the gun (bolt action) and the other is just an extra barrel. Hope this helps Hi, My shooting buddy has a Sako quad in .22rf, we both applied for variations at the same time and mine came back and his didnt!
