leon
Frontline, a line up the back and that does it, also if you get ticks a bit on a cotton wool bud and coat the tick 24hrs later no tick. And whats more the dog can have a going over with it too.
old rooster
I use Frontline on the back of the ferrets neck, couple of tips: keep the Frontline in a cool dark place but let it warm to room temperature before applying to the ferret. Once applied keep the ferret out in fresh air and away from other ferrets until the Frontline has dried completely. If ticks are a problem in the ears you can get special tick tweezers which are quite handy.
leon
I personaly treat all the ferrets and the dogs if they come into contact with each other otherwise the fleas will be back in no time.
