Paddy Galore!
Hello chaps, i've come by a p/a shot gun and i'm not sure how much it's worth. It's a savage mod30E, 70mm chamber, fixed 28" barrel, fixed choke, would clean up easily to make a tidy gun. Do any of you peeps know much about these and what they're worth? thanks in advance

vole
I got one for about that price ,it had a poor stock and another defect with the magazine I could not fix so sold it on. That sounds a good price for one in good nick.
Paddy Galore!
Tried the gun out on friday, had a few problems cycling,[will have to look into that] I gave it a partial strip and clean but it still sticks!
CZ550Kevlar
They were also known as Trench Guns, Not an elegantly engineered gun but more designed for rough and ready. I was offered an FAC version but i could never force myself to have a wood gun, could be an idea to take it into a gunsmith for a service that will sort the kinks out. Paddy Galore!
Good news! managed to get it working again, you would not believe the amount of crud that was fouling up the action! enough to grow your spuds in! I used some graphite grease to lube it up a bit and it seems to work fine. PHEW! Which is a good job cos i haven't bought it yet..
