harv
spotted a couple of full length surpressed .22's which have taken my eye. the question is do i need to get rid of my .22 sound mod and apply for a variation for a ".22 rifle with sound mod". i remember reading a case where it was found that if it was integral to the barrel then it did not require a seperate condition on your ticket

CZ550Kevlar
The rule goes that if the gun was manufactured and designed with a built in sound moderator it is classed as part of the gun and therefore doesn`t require a seperate moderator slot, if you do the usual of screwcutting and adding a mod it is classed as a "weapon" in it`s own right basically. I looked at buying a .22rf which had the moderator built into the barrel as part of the design and that would have gone on my ticket as a .22rf rifle.
