  13. Yes he is, I spoke to him last week. I have been waiting 8 weeks for my renewal (sgc / fac) I was issued a temp cert on the 12th Jan. That runs out on the 2nd Feb. Essex have lost three FEO's for one reason or another and now have two being trained up.
  14. I think, They often ask questions and make statements just to get a reaction.
  15. Tollerman, I sure hope mine is that easy, sent my renewal off mid November, both FAC and SGC run out on 12th Jan and I haven't heard anything yet. (Essex)
  16. Got a pair of Aigle Parcours 2 Iso for Christmas. I wore them for a walk about on the farm on Sunday, thick frost and ice. then 100 sporting clays with lots of standing around. I have to say they are the warmest and most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. Early days as far as durability goes but I cannot fault them for comfort and warmth.
  17. Delboy316, Just out of interest, Can you Pm me the name of the farm you left... or the farmer.
  18. Beeredup, I hope Bullet makes a full recovery. It is a very big op. My Springer Archie, is a stone addict (will have to keep an eye on that) He has just got over 2 emergency ops for the same reason as Bullet. The first op was to remove 4 socks, the second to untangle his intestine due to not being able to stay still to recover. Lots of anguish and a very hefty bill later he is fully recovered. Atb Paul
  19. What if you do not have a permission slip signed? It is not a requirment.
  20. Gents, Just recieved a call from firearms office, to say that a peice of land i was asking about has been cleared, and I could use a 223 - 243 on said land. Email confirmation states 22-250. Can i use a .223 on said land or not? atb

  22. Hi, M2tyj, I had this on my .223 when I received it in January. Send it back now, and ask them to remove the condition for vermin and fox. Then wait a while, or do the DSC1 and send it back in to have the condition removed for deer to. Paul
