HI chaps & Chappettes popped into local shop on my way to clay range a picked up a can of oil...well what i thought was oil is actually PH009 Nito powder solvent... Is it safe to use this to wipe down the exterior of the gun (metal work) or will it ruin finish? Need to know ASAP if i have to go back out and try and get some oil (are there any suitable household types ie available from DIY sheds etc and reconmendations for grease for the action does it have to be a specific type?

WEll rang the shop as i was keen to get the gun locked away safely. PH009 is not safe for use on blued metal as it will remove the finish going to have to go and change it for normal oil (so now you know)
