Gordon R
I am struggling to separate the action from the stock on my SBS. All bolts have been removed. Help needed - please. Do I hold the stock and tap the action? Or hold the action and tap the stock? This is a straight hand stock and finding somewhere to tap is awkward if not impossible. MK38
If you have removed the screw under the top lever, and the one under the trigger guard it should leave just the one for the bottom plate ........with that removed the bottom plate should come off and wth a bit of jiggling, the top half with the safety catch should seperate from the trigger carrier. At least thats whats happend with the one's i've done.... though some other sorts of guns may be different in the way they are dismantiled.
