ferreter10
From my experiences i ttend to use 1/2 and 3/4 for roosting and 1/4 and 1/2 for hide. But tba, doesnt really matter as long as you are hitting and killing the birds.
gottsy boy
Given a 12 gauge, 28" double barrel, to be used mainly decoying pigeons, roost shooting, corvids and occasional walked up rabbits; What's your ideas on the best chokes? when i'm decoying i tend to prefer 1/4 and 1/4 if the birds are coming in nice this suits me with 28-30 grm 6's i never really shoot at anything too high, when i'm rabit shooting i use half and full as i tend to shoot a little bit further away.. pref 32 5's for the bunnies i think you have to go with what suits your type of shooting.. i think most comon game set up is 1/4 and 1/2..
