KillStone
went out after feeding today set out the bale wrap deeks and got a rele good hide of some corrugated tin. they decoyed well but were in flocks had 12 shots killed 9 so not too bad for minimal effort and 90mins. Has anyone else tried the bale wrap decoys yet?

Red 9R
they look like they are just plastic bags on sticks, tied to give a bird body sort of shape? Are they?
UK fowler
yes . the yanks call them texas rags they use them for geese when there are putting out big spreads.killstone uses bail wrap iv used thin binbags they look great in the wind lots of movement going to give them a try after the wildfowling ends

George1990
I'm still not sure how they are made though. They fill up with the air, so it isn't just a matter of attaching some plastic to a stick is it? They're a cone shape are they?
KillStone
nope quite literally attach some plastic to a stick.
George1990
Right I've got to try this then. I'm going to try tights over my pigeon decoys first to make wondering around the lingerie section worth it.
UK fowler
dont let thoughs tights go to waist the texus way is to start with a 20"square of plastic tie two oposite corners together then staple along one edge to make the cone shape.google on "texas rag decoys"thats where i found how to make them
