cocker3 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 went out today on the rape (that doesnt sound quite right )went out for 9am (verminator you should of come m8 )with my son jamie and ma m8 gary we have 8 fields of rape all together.. jamie and gary went flighting in strips of wood land round some of the fields i set up decoys and two magnets in another field.we put 2k to 3k of pigeons of the fields before we start therre was not a breath of wind and all did not look good as 3k of birds ******** of on mass after half an hour they started to trickle back in ens and twentys . the shooting was frantic till 1pm the birds came in on rails and i was pulling them in form over a mile and jamie and gary were shooting away if the birds didnt come to me they went to them then then the rain came on it was the odd bird bythen by 3pm no birds at all they had found new safer ground packed up at 330pm (god hull cartridge compay must make some money off us ) roll on next week !!!!!!!!!
