Topgunners
Finally found them damn pesky pigeons. After a morning recceing to no avail we went down to the river to feed some sweetcorn for the ducks and upon arriving there we had to pass between two fields. One on the right just been seeded with wheat and the other on the left, bean stubble covered in beans and at least 2,000 pigeons flitting around in the high winds. Couldn't get set up quick enough. lol But to our slight disappointment they would not decoy only fly past high & fast but some CRACKING sport had by all and within 2 hours had shot 104 pigeons (talk about World War 3) and then it chucked it down and we had to call it an early bath(literally). Could have possibly hit the magical 200 mark but instead we had to pick up the birds and pile everything into the jeeps "sopping wet" . Still, there's always tomorrow. Dave K and the team. ( GOD do we love beans!!!!!!!!! ) Edited October 8, 2005 by Topgunners
