Thanks again, Stuart You will not go wrong with either of them, but the HW is the better built gun, typical German efficiency but arguably OVER engineered as reflected in it's crazy weight!! That is the only thing I can say against it!! The AA410 would be my choice, I genuinely do not think it is as good a gun as the HW100 (but it is excellent)...... but I DON'T like heavy rifles...I spend a LONG time in the field. In round figures the AA is 1.5lb lighter than the HW, that is massive after a few hours carrying it around!! ATB!! PS. To put the weight into perspective..NONE of my rimfires or centrefires weigh what a HW100 weighs, even my Remington 700SPS Stainless in .308 is lighter!!
