jim38curl
Shot a measly 3 pigeons today but when checking the crop while breasting one of them i found around 15 snails of various sizes ( still in shells ). Is this normal ? I'm pretty new to pigeon shooting so it may be a pretty normal thing but does seem strange to me. Jim.
Highlander
Just don't tell farmer...pigeons are supposed to damage his crop NOT help with the pest control

I've seen it quite often, lots of birds eat snails....hell even the bloody frogs love munching on "les escargots".
henry c
This is very normal, i have shot one full of a slug and snail combo. Also i had a pet Mallard which used to eat snails all day and when i picked him up i could hear them all in his crop rattling like pebbles.
