Colster
http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/...nspection-lamps 2 million CP but I don't suppose they do filters for them but can always find a bit of filter to bodge on the end if they're any good. I'm after a decent hand held lamp (doesn't need to gun mount) to use either from 4x4 or on foot, a mate has a Striker which is a bit pants and a Clulite CB2 which works really well. I have two mates with these although they are branded "draper" and we find them very good, they chuck out more light than my lightforce 170and were a lot cheaper too. we use stage light filter gels for a cheap filter
Colster
Any idea what the battery life is like? Like I said would want to use it on foot too and read some reviews of the Nightsearcher which say the battery life is only about half an hour. Around three hours would be ideal even if it was lower candle power, pretty sure the Clulite we use is only half a mill CP and even with a filter it's fine for bunnies out to 100-150 yards. I have an gun mounted Ultrafire torch (250Lumen) with a Ledray GL2 Amber filter on it which is fine out to 100yards but it's a very tight beam so great for targeting but not so good for spotting. EDIT: Just read the description properly that's plug in only isn't it. Ah well, any other suggestions? monkeymagic1969
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MVP-SUPERLINE-HANDHE...=item2a05123968 Look for a Colman lamp (spelling ) and the filter will fit those above Also rechargeable lamps are absolutely rubbish for lamping time - you'll be lucky to get 30mins out of it.
