tick
Anybody got any results for .270? i have been tinckering with VihtV N160 with 59gr- 110g V-Max with good results, but have been reading about RE17 and the Yanks recon its the best thing since slice bread? anybody tried it? also having a look at H4895 for my .270, any results welcome for any loads, and powder's, the lighter the better for Fox control as i dont want to go down the road of getting another Rifle, shoot mostly Roe's + Foxes but sometimes Reds, Ranges between 100yards-150yards no further as i would Stalk in hopefully. garyb
Just because it work's in someone elses gun, don't mean it's gonna work in yours Work up your own, playing with what you have already learned is the best way!

mallet
Im using Reloader 19 at the moment to good effect 53.6 grains behind a 130 grain nosler bullet. Got a lb of N160 to try.
Harnser
Tick , I used a .270 for many years . My two favourite loads were , 45 grains of N140 with a 130 grain expanding bullet , =2850 feet per second . 54 grains of N 160 with a 130 grain expanding bullet = 3030 feet per second . Both these loads are devastating on all deer . Harnser .
tick
Cheer's guy's for your result's, i ve tried 140g SST's with RE 19 with good results, but trying lighter heads 110gV-Max/VihtV N160 again good results, but RE17 sounds very good. moses
N160 has been the most accurate in my Sako. 130 grain CT Nosler BT, CCi BR4 primer, Norma Brass and 51grains of N160 gives 2900fps. This is the min load this bullet from the Nosle manual but, it's the most accurate for me it'll shoot 3 shot bug holes all day long.
