    Price drop £1100
  3. Due to work commitments I'm going to be scalling back the amount of stalking and general shooting I'm doing. I'm selling a couple of rifles and scopes and I can't warrant having the money tied up in these when they are not being used. They are a fantastic bit of kit but, no good sitting on the shelf gathering dust. ATB Moses

  9. That man was me and what Mallet says is 100% correct. You cannot transfer a mod thats on your ticket as: for example a 243 sound mod, to someone unless it's a 243 sound mod he has an authority for. If a guy with a 308 slot for example wants it it, has to be done through RFD, check with your feo cause when the paperwork gets done it doesn't match up and this will flag up with both departments. A 243 sound mod in the eyes of the law can only be transferred as a 243 sound mod from F.A.C holder to F.A.C holder. through an RFD he just takes it in as a sound mod and can transfer it out as any calibre but, we cannot. 10. Personally I love Rolex but, all of my friends have them and I wanted something different. I had always coveted Panerai watches and after trying Rolex and Panerai in the jewellers, I went for a titanium Panerai and I'm very pleased I did. It's a very understated watch as it's brushed to a matt finish. I would still like a rolex though and have my eye on the GMT master II and the Sea dweller deep sea. ATB Moses

  13. I'd have a look at N140 and IMR4831 too, also I find CCi BR primers very good. I would add a case lube kit to the list and some of the trays for loading the primed cases in and some ammo boxes; a good reloading guide wouldn't go a miss either. ATB Moses
  14. For Sale; Hawke Spotting scope 12-36 x50; Multi-angle rotating spotting scope. The whole scope can be rotated on a tripod. Useful when viewing from the prone position. 12-36x50 with 45 degree eye piece, soft carry case, front and rear lense caps. Very useful for those zeroing sessions. Good condition with and lenses perfect; £70 ono posted RMSD ATB Moses
  15. I have an MK70 grade 5 and I love it but, I don't do much clay shooting with it. It's used for game shooting, pigeons, ducks etc... You might be better to look at the MK38 if it's a trap gun you're after, they do the grade 5 MK38 with the same engraving as the MK70, see if you can find a teagued model; Plenty of new and used MK38's on the shelf at Sportsmans dorset. ATB Moses
  16. Swarovski 10x25B Compact (green). Come with soft case, good condition and lenses perfect. RRP £459 in Sportsmans £250 posted RMSD. ATB Moses
  17. Great glass on the Victory scopes, had a couple but, now use Z6i's. The one's I had were 1st focul plane and at that time they didn't do the ret's in the 2nd but, I think they do now. ATB Moses
  18. look out for a tidy Tikka 595 too, great rifles ATB Moses
  19. I have had SLC's and EL Swaros; both very good bins with excellent glass. I had a pair of Zeiss victory for a while but, returned them as they developed a fault still very good glass though. I now use Leica HD ultravids in 10x42 Swaro do not do an 8x30 R/F binocular its an 8x30 monocular rangefinder. I have the swaro rangefinder and it's very good but I wouldn't use it instead of bins. I would have a look at what Swaro, Zeiss and Leica have to offer in your price bracket and see what suits you best. If you want rangefinding bins then it's Leica Geovids and Zeiss victorys. Leica have just launched new Hidef versions of the Geovids so, there may be some deals around on the older model. Uttings have some good bino deals on at the moment and Mcleods in Tain are always competitive if you speak to Gregor. The latest ones I'm eager to get my hands on are the new Swaro HD EL's. ATB Moses
  20. N160 has been the most accurate in my Sako. 130 grain CT Nosler BT, CCi BR4 primer, Norma Brass and 51grains of N160 gives 2900fps. This is the min load this bullet from the Nosle manual but, it's the most accurate for me it'll shoot 3 shot bug holes all day long. ATB Moses
  21. Thousands of Sika shot all over Ireland with nothing bigger than 22 centre fires without any problems. The biggest Calibre you could have over there until farely recently was a 22Cf, 22-250 accounted for most of them. You won't have any problems taking any UK quarry with a 243.
