bigstevouk Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 Very nice caliber Nick, fella i shoot with had a straight pull..... downside couldn't get the rounds in this country, had to import them but he used to re-load, nice inbetween caliber from .308 to .223, if i remember it works out to nearly a .270. casts_by_fly Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 The 6.8SPC was designed for AR styled semis. It has an odd boltface and low pressure spec for gas operated semis. Performance wise, there is no reason to go with one over a 270 or 260 if you're talking about a bolt gun. They are only popular in the US for semis.
