sako751sg
Some might remember the post i put on after xmas, with the sickly roebuck that i didnt shoot as it would have been dark by the time i got the rifle. In this months Sporting Gun,it states that you can, kill an animal at any time,by day or night and in or out of season if the action is taking in order to prevent further suffering. A very handy thing to remember if that scenario happens again, and something to quote if any over zealous plod come across you.Im sure the unscrupilous kind sometimes use it when poaching, but hopefully theres none of that kind on here. henry d
On mine I think it would be covered by the condition A6 (III) "The humane shooting of animals."
