sanibel686
I recently aquired these cartridges as part of a job lot I have 68, 8 bore cartridges stamped winchester "super x" 25 are in a box marked alan myers, the rest are unboxed I also have around 550 of the 2 1/2" 16 bore shown. There is one 12 bore in the photos for scale I have no idea how to value these 8 bore. The boxed set has £49.50 marked on it. Does anyone have any advice or websites I could look at before I decide on a fair price. many thanks lads

He resides in the Garstang area of Lancashire was the last I knew. Alan Myers loaded big bore cartridges for Eley a well. He loaded lead,Bismuth and Tungsten loads. They are a more a collectors item than for shooting.

Dick
Being lead is the problem...I would be interested but only to salvage the cases....A collector would probably give you the best deal.
