morning all, is the fancy electronic trigger and computer on the daystate airwolf worth all the money or is the air ranger just as good? or would i be better off just getting and r10? thanks

I bought a Wolf and love it, but if I was to go back in time.... I might just go for the Ranger just because it's got one less thing to worry about.

Just make sure before you buy that it is the rifle for you. Going by some of the sales threads it is easier to get rid of AIDS than a second hand Airwolf or Air Ranger.

The reason they are hard (ish) to sell is down to the economic cliamate. Difficult to find one for 600 or less and that is a fair amount of wedge during lean times.

I have a Wolf, had it a couple of years now. It does exactly what it says on the can...pellet on pellet 35 yds all day long. It's not much diff at 45 yds either. Simply the best.

The electronic gizmos give no trouble. Well, I have had no problems. No point in selling it , what could I replace it with, nothing compares.

Wolf or Ranger? Personal preference really. Both have their merits and I can't see much between them. Guess if you are worried about the onboard technology wimp out and get the Ranger. If trust the technology then Wolfie. Real men prefer...

I had no trouble selling my Ranger, and it was a pretty beat-up example (I was totally honest about its condition and provided pictures, and the price reflected its condition). I think the chap had to drive for 8hrs (round trip) to buy it! Great bloke though and I was very pleased to meet him, and since we met at one of my permissions he was able to fire off a few dozen pellets, so I hope the journey was worthwhile for him...
