Hello all.

Just wondering if anyone could help me. I have just bought a daihatsu terios 1999 model solely to go shooting in and a bit of green laneing, however it has dueller tyres on which to me don't look like that they could be any good in mud etc, although i haven't tried it yet, not till thursday as i shuold be going pigeon shooting. Any Terios users on here? What tyres should i go for, as i said before i do not intend to conquer mountains. :good:

I use the wife's 2002 Terios complete with original **** "Dueller" tyres(still 3-4mm @37k) & frankly I have been surprised by how it has managed to cope with both snow & mud.I did think about better tyres but up to now never been stuck:just hit electronic centre difflock & away you go.Pity interior is so small especially width.

To be honest I would wait until you need new tyres as we have summer on the way, then go for a set of "AT" tyres. BF Goodrich are brilliant but expensive, however that said they last for ever which makes them competitive in the long run. I suspect the duellers will struggle for green laning in anything but good conditions.

Thanks, for the info. I will wait till i need new tyres as you are right that summer is on the way. Next winter i will look at fitting some decent AT tyres.

Cheers for the info. Yes the terios is very narrow but with rear seats down which fold flat i found that i have plenty of room for all the pigeon shooting gear that i carry plus the dog aswell, if used just for shooting i think it is perfect for what i need it as it will save me carrying all the gear to the spot i want to setup in.
