Can anyone say what size sabots are available please for rifle.

If you have both a .223 and a .308 on your licence and the .223 is cleared for fox and the .308 is for target use only, and if you put a .223 sabot round in the .308 can you legally shoot fox?

That's a good question. On the face of it I'd say yes but if you already have .223 for fox why would you want to use a heavy rifle to do the same thing?

From what I have read the accuracy is not much to write home about. You would be a lot better off with a dedicated rifle.

If you have a 308/762 and use sub calibre sabot rounds out of it they are still classed as the parent calibre 308/7.62 , If you buy remington accelerator in 308/7,62 rounds they are written on your ticket as 308/7,62 by the rfd
