yickdaz Posted April 3, 2010 Report Share Posted April 3, 2010 (edited) WENT OUT WITH ME OLD FELLA TODAY TO LOOK AT A RAPE FIELD WE HAD NOT SHOT FOR A MONTH DUE TO LACK OF BIRDS USING IT/TODAY ABOUT 500 ON IT SO WE SET UP AT A WOOD WHICH THE RAPE SURROUNDS.FOR THE FIRST HOUR BIRDS DECOYED WELL;ALOT OF BIRDS CAME BACK BUT JUST FLEW BY US OUT OF RANGE AND WOULD NOT LOOK AT DECOYS IT WENT VERY QUIET AND THEY TRICKLED IN FOR REST OF THE DAY AND SOME CRACKING SHOTS PULLED OFF BY BOTH OF US. BUT HIGHLIGHT FOR ME THE WAY ME DAD SHOT OVERALL HE MISSED SOME SITTERS AND HE GOT SOME RIGHT STICK FROM ME COUPLED WITH THE FACT EVERY TIME I SHOT IT ENDED WITH A PIGEON ON THE DECK; HE GOT DESPERATE AFTER MISSING ANOTHER AND BET ME £5; HE WOULD HIT THE NEXT ONE THAT CAME IN ENJOYED TAKING THAT FROM HIM ended with 20 had he shot better would of had 30 or so Edited April 10, 2010 by yickdaz Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
