UKPoacher
Went out Wednesday night to reccy some rats that are raiding the feeders and shot a pigeon while I was there. Opened its crop to confirm that they are still hitting the rape and found a load of clover leaves instead. I didn't need telling twice, so this afternoon instead of decoying the rape fields as usual I popped my pattern out on one of the two clover fields used to make silage. Brilliant day! Sunshine and pigeons coming in steadily in ones and twos all afternoon. Picked 23. Not a lot for some of you, but on our shoot it's about three times what I would have expected in four hours.
