6shot Posted April 12, 2010 Report Share Posted April 12, 2010 (edited) 1 of the farms i shoot on has drilled peas. they drilled them on saturday. they were going to grow them last year but changed there mind at the last minute. so as i have only ever shot on pea stuble (had a nice bag of 50) i was lucking foward to it. went to check the fields out a couple of times on sunday. no pigeons feeding but lots of peas on top. went tonight after work, there was about 30 to 40 on the field. so building up. carnt get tomorro of, got to much work booked in, but can get half a day wednesday afternoon. whats the betting tomorro is the day. :blink: may be ill get a better chance when the peas start to shoot up. motty Posted April 12, 2010 Report Share Posted April 12, 2010 You'll probably find you have plenty of opportunity to get a decent bag or two on this field. You have all the time the plants are growing, plus the stubble. Don't be in too much of a hurry, especially if you're the only one with permission to shoot there.
