Ballymac
Hi jim38curl, regarding your credit rating you will have a default registered against you at this time at the very least, perhaps a CCJ if you have receeived letters to attend court. The best way to get rid of this is to contact 3 and get a letter that says they are satisfied (providing it all comes to an agreed end)you then need to send off for a credit report of your details, Equifax or Experian, £2 for this. You will see what has been registered against you and can get this sorted. This type of thing can cause probs if mortgaging or re mortgaging, and can affect the rate charged on any h.p or credit that you may apply for in the future. If you are not requiring any credit or finance in the near future then this will not be a major concern. If you want any further info on the credit agency send me a pm. Hopefully you will get all sorted out, I have a contract with 3 and know of the probs trying to get through to the right department via Bombay and Delhi to get a prob sorted. Good luck for this Saturday
jim38curl
Thanks for that. I did get turned down for a credit card a few month ago. I was wanting to do a balance transfer and got a letter back saying sorry, not this time. Was a bit shocked as have never been urned down for credit ever. Didn't really think much of it at the time as it wasn't essential to have the credit card. All makes sense now. Jim.
