Chokes

Recommended Posts

:good: What is the gun ?

It`s impossible to say without seeing it or actually measuring it but there are guns out there that are like that.

They can be cyl. and 1/2 or 1/4 and 3/4 something like that.

The old 1980s Miroku 6000 use to be 1/4 and 3/4 and was used a lot in FITASC.

If you can get your hands on a caliper gauge there is a way of measuring the choke roughly. My dad gave me his old side by side and there's no markings for the choke so looked at this web extract and i've roughly got 1/4 and 1/2 choked barrels.

Go to this web page http://www.wildfowlmag.com/tips_strategies/shotgun_062304/ and that'll get you a rough idea of what you've got.

Oh yeah you'll need to find the bore diameter. Mine was printed on the under side of the gun but not sure where your markings will be.

Hope it helps.
