waddy
OK - Tai is two and a half now and is starting to calm down. She had a reasonable day yesterday (her first day out of the season - so I expected her to be excitable) she calmed down a bit after lunch. She will now sit and wait until she is told to work the cover but on two occasions she bolted off and would not come back when called, no matter how much i shouted and bellowed (much to the amusement of the others). Once she gets it into her head she is going there is no stopping her - at a loss here any ideas? (I do not want to use one of those electric shock collars either) Help !!
new to the flock
If you do not want to use " one of thoses shock collars" than you will need to work your dog on a drag line or retractable lead so that you can make a correction inside the 8 second time margin. By the way those electronic collars are a great tool when used correctly. NTTF
