All finished now. Rape waist high so Woodies not really doing any damage to crop.

Also all paired up now and nesting.

I suggest you put your gun away until the harvest when the Pigeon start to bunch again and not quite so many birds nesting.

Dependent on the weather. If we have a dry summer it should be around the end of July/ beginning of August. If it's wet it will obviously be later.

There are still opportunities on flight lines. If you can find a good one and sit under it for an hour or two at the end of the day. When I do this I can still get a couple and it keeps the eye in and exercises the dog... However, you certainly are not going to get a red letter day, or get rich... :blink:

No you dont put your gun away. you go and find peas to shoot over. Theres always opportunities to shoot pigeons. Flighting can be great when they are coming home to bed.
