help!! hmr accuracy gone to pot

im putting the brush in from the breach/chamber, was always told never to put it from the muzzle or youll mess up the crown. and the cleaning kit fits 22lr and 17hmr (the rod takes different attachments), but the only bit i have to hold patches is for the 22lr - ive had the kit 4 years, in that time its been through two house moves and several ex's so god only knows where the hmr bit went :good:

funnily the crown on the 10/22 got damaged and i blamed that rod, so i relegated it to a box and used a bore snake, does the job. but it got resurrected today to scrub the hmr, did a good job but i wont be using it much, not taking the chance on wrecking the hmr with it!

The bore guide is for centre fire ......it won't suit a rimfire

 

The kit looks OK buts its cheap
