Ward and sons SXS hammergun, damasus barrels

Recommended Posts

As the title says, just thinking of selling my Ward and Sons rebounding hammergun, it has a Jones roatary action and damascus barrels. It is proofed for black powder only, although I have fired light loads of the normal nitro powder in it with no problems. It has a splinter forend inlaid with a pece of horn. It is missing the sight bead and has some pitting down the barrels, but what would you expect from a gun made 130 years ago or so! It has nice straight grained wood and the original matching hammers and a metal butt plate. The only reason I am thinking of selling it is that I have bought 2 guns in the last week, so need to make a bit of room. I would quite fancy a new watch with any money I make from it! So if you are interested drop me a pm.

I would be looking for £130, and can rfd at a cost of £25 to the buyer.

Or I would swap for a Rotary Automatic watch or similar.

I will post some pics tomorrow night
