Posted May 28, 2010 Report Share Posted May 28, 2010 I currently have a gsp and and springer and I keep the two of them outside in a dog run with a fairly big kennel(Dont no exact size) but I'm just wondering what is the best bed to but in the kennel should I just leave it empty or put straw etc in it? Look forward to replies. Hey Irelands finest, I use shredded paper for my dogs bedding, I get it in my local greyhound track its about €10 for a bail of it. It holds the heat even during the cold winter we had the dogs were nice and warm in it. I also use a cow matt in the run for them to lie on get the hard rubber matting dimples on one side and smooth on the other, my dogs ripped up the alfa laval spongy foamy stuff, I also use cow matting in the dog trailer, the cow matting is about €60, Hope this helps.
