Hi all just thought I'd share my latest letter to see what you think before posting it through any doors.

• Fully insured: £10 million public liability and £35 000 personal accident cover.

• British Association for Shooting and Conservation Member

• Shotgun certificate holder.

• Six years experience with air rifles, three years with shotguns.

• Sound moderated (Virtually Silenced)air rifle and moderated shotgun, suitable for around livestock, horses and buildings.

• Currently in the process of applying for Fire Arms Certificate.

• Currently controlling rabbits at …

Its good,not to dishearten you, but replys to these letters are limited and you would do a lot better to speak to people face to face,unless you have already targeted potential permissions even then i would still try to meet up :hmm: you could then get them to sign a shooting permission form.

i agree with vampire its always best to knock doors so the farmer can see who is shooting his land by posting a letter it will be probley end in the bin if i was a farmer i would think that you can post a letter but cant knock my door if he got back in touch with you he would still wont to meet you so save your self a stamp and a lot of printing of the pc go knocking it took me a yaear to find land but in the end it was worth knocking the farmers doors :hmm::hmm::hmm:
