dibbz2000
Im going to invest in a new air rifle in the new year, but im sure what to get yet, Ive heard good reviews of the airarms S410, but i need to know can it be filled with a pnematic pump, as I dont know where there any divers shops round here! I live in the sticks the nearest prob being 30+ miles away! I'm wanting the gun for vermin shooting, your average welsh farmland, Rabbits, corvids, rats, tree rats, etc etc Also anyone know of any good combos in which I can get the gun, pump, and any other accesories. (I already have a good scope) My budget is around the £500 mark Any help much appreciated!! Martin
BountyHunter
There are a number of good stirrup pumps out there, Hill do one with a built in moisture trap which I would imagine helps with the lonevity of your rifle. Be prepared though, if you buy a stirrup pump you won't need to go to the gym often, it takes around 200 good pumps to get a full charge so I'm told! Try this for info. BH 200 pumps?? think you might have been told slight fibs there. basic rule of thumb is 1 shot out=1 pump in so a 410 will give you 80-90 shots which means around 100 pumps back in or 5-10 mins pumping, im only a skinny runt and no problem using a pump. Fill the rifle before heading off and then your ready for a good sesion in the fields. also worth checking out JS Ramsbottom for some reptty good deals. For £500 notes you should be able to get all you need to be well on your way to a decent set up especialy if you go the second hand route there are a whole load of AA rifles out there to choose from, last year i picked up a thumb hole custom stocked S410 for £425!!!!
