tenbears10
I have 000 stamped on one barrel and 0000 on the other barrel of my Macnab. It is fixed choke so the only thing I can think is that they denote what choke each barrel is. Am I right and if so what do they relate to in the 1/4, 1/2, full scale? Told you it was a daft question but I got the gun second hand and I can't remember what chokes it is. Thanks in advance

tenbears10
Thanks the link did work. Still not sure what 000 and 0000 equal in terms of full or 1/2 etc.
tenbears10
Ok I just checked the macnab website and the highlander only comes in 1/4 and 1/2 fixed choke so I do know what choke it is.
Country_est
Tenbears, What I put up a few months ago, just took awhile for me to find it Choke restrictions are full = 40 thou of an inch. Marked as * or 1 slot or 1 something 3/4 = 30 ** 1/2 = 20 *** 1/4 = 10 **** cyl = 0 ***** Not sure what skeet is set to but could be 5 thou. markbivvy
the 000,s are the number of birds the last owner shot with that gun. hence it being second hand.
