Paul in North Lincs.
Good stuff........ Can't beat it. I love ratting with to gun over ferret this time of year.... The're nitro fueled them there rats with a ferret behind em!!!!. You will find that ratty will not go back the burry for a while, with the ferret's smell inside.
jimblowscash
i have rat problems, i used to ferret them, now they have so many chambers etc the ferrets dont seem to either be able to get to them or if they do bolt them, i also used to use an old chainsaw (minus the bar and chain) with a length of gas pipe welded to the exhaust, this also did the trick for a while but alas the dens / warrens ?? (what is the correct term for rat dwelling?) are so big now that also fails. i keep birds of prey so i cant use bait/ poison just incase and i have tried baiting with scrambleg egg an air rifle and lamp which worked realy well for the first couple of nights but again alas ratty has the better of me. my next trick will be to hire a mini digger and flatten everything and start again unless anyone else has any tricks they can pass on??
