Redgum
I cant get my trigger down to less than 4 pounds which is probably safe for hunting but I want less. Just as I was about save up for a Timney I read an interesting article on the 700 trigger. We all know that the american market have to supply heavy triggers for legal reasons but pre 2000 the triggers had lighter springs. There are a few american company's that supply various lighter springs for the trigger but does anyone know of a UK company or source. I have adjusted the trigger so its nice and crisp but just cant get the weight down, I'm guessing that the original spring is quite strong and as its a short spring by the time you start to come down on weight you have run out of spring. Midway do a kit but I only want the bleeping trigger spring.
Dekers
Lots of springs available in this country and any decent gunsmith will have a few.
