berties
hiim the proud owner of a new to me MK 70 which i would like to fit a recoil pad to. can anybody recommend a recoil pad to suit my miroku or what i can expect to pay a gunsmith. also would the fitting of a pad increase/ decrease the value of my gun. i have no intention of selling the gun ever but dont want to trashs its re sale value as its in a "as new condition" go to a gunsmith and get the pad and spacer that will allow the gun to fit you they will grind and sand the pad to fit the stock,I have just had one put on my berretta and cost £90 with a stock refurbish ,if they use a kickeez or a soft compound pad get them to tape and varnish the top of the pad so it does not snag your clothes when bringing the gun up,the pad i have had fitted has a harder section in it,to stop snaging but was more expensive than the kickeez i had fitted to the 20g browning I have which cost £75 with the stock alteration,I was quoted up to £120worth a google to find the right price and god gun smith, saying that I asked at a local shoot and found a gun smith to do the job within 30 seconds good luck b
