luvbus
Hi All, My old man has offered me a go with his Webley Model 700 to see how I get on with the handling of a S/S. Do I need to take any care as to which cartridges I use in an older gun or will it be happy on a diet of my usual 30gm 67mm loads? TIA, Rich
Vince Green
Yes it should be fine. Proof pressures haven't changed since it was made. It shold be a nice gun to use. The only thing is it will "feel" better using it with some Eley Grand Prix paper cartridges if you can get some but thats nothing to do with the cartridges, that just nostaligia. Thanks for the reply, adding a couple of black labs sat close at heal would also add to the nostalgia but I will not be running to that either!! It certainly feels quite different from the F3!!
