dooseydog
Hi, can anyone give a rough guideline to the price a good to average 302 with multi choke ? Also; What is spares availability for this gun ? Will it cycle light loads ie 24gram ? Know, I am asking what is really the length of a piece of string , but would appreciate your advice / thoughts best regards
Dekers
GMK should be able to handle spares, but this lot may be useful too.... http://www.brignoliarmi.com/azienda.php Not sure about the 24g, possibly a little hopeful, I think my old 303 was rated 28, may have been 24, so you may be in with a chance, talk to GMK, they will tell you! Price wise, probably about £200-£400!

Paul223
Will it cycle light loads ie 24gram ? see if you can find a new main spring, brownells or midway usa should have them, and may be midway uk or local rfd??, once you have a new replacement spring cut either it or your existing main spring down by about a coil at a time, dressing the end of the spring each time (blow torch and heat the last coil then squeeze it up to bear pressure evenly, doing this looses two coils each cut!!) and trying to see if it will cycle the 24 grams, main spring is located by removing butt plate, then undo 19mm nut. being careful nut is undoing from tube and not the whole tube turning in the action, once this is undone slide the stock off then press on the spring stop located in the end of the tube and push out the cross pin, the stop will then come out with the main spring behind it under a bit of pressure, do what you need to do and refit try, if it all goes ti_s up you have a new spring to fit in cutting the spring will slow the cycle speed done carefully you should be able to use 24 grams and no real noticeable speed loss, using heavy loads can cause the bolt to hit the rear of alloy receiver possibly causing damage hth Edited July 8, 2010 by Paul223
