yipyip Posted July 14, 2010 Report Share Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) WENT OUT FOR A FEW HOURS LAST FRIDAY OVER SOME FRESHLY PLANTED CAULIFLOWER'S MANAGED TO GET 17 BUT I NOTICED I WAS PULLING THEM DOWN OF A FLIGHT LINE GOING ACROSS TO ANOTHER FIELD I SHOT LAST YEAR THAT HAD BARLEY IN SO WHEN I FINISHED I DROVE OVER TO SEE ABOUT 80 PIGEONS ON THE LINES DROPING IN SO I GOT OUT TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE FIELD AND NOTICED THERE WAS BULBS AND A LIGHT GROWTH OF BARLEY ALL OVER THE FIELD BUT IT WAS RIPE SO I DECIDED TO HAVE TODAY OFF TO GIVE IT GO AND I MANAGED TO TAKE 39 WHICH IS MY BEST DAY YET IT WAS WORTH A CHANCE HOPE TO HAVE MORE DAYS LIKE THIS BUT I DOUBT I WILL WITH THE SMALL AMOUNT OF PIGEONS THIS FAR DOWN IN CORNWALL Edited July 14, 2010 by yipyip Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was up by St Eval the other day and a newly combined field of barley was jumping with pigeons as I drove by. Other adjacent fields were also ripe and should be ready for harvesting soon.
