Plenty of pigeons about in cornwall seen over 1000 take off 4 fields really thought it was red letter day boy was i wrong just wouldn't decoy wasen't a happy bunny and thats been the same the last few outing's we have been out.Going to try 2morrow but i wont hold my breath.

17 ON FRIDAY AND 39 TODAY 13857

WENT OUT FOR A FEW HOURS LAST FRIDAY OVER SOME FRESHLY PLANTED CAULIFLOWER'S MANAGED TO GET 17 BUT I NOTICED I WAS PULLING THEM DOWN OF A FLIGHT LINE GOING ACROSS TO ANOTHER FIELD I SHOT LAST YEAR THAT HAD BARLEY IN SO WHEN I FINISHED I DROVE OVER TO SEE ABOUT 80 PIGEONS ON THE LINES DROPING IN SO I GOT OUT TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE FIELD AND NOTICED THERE WAS BULBS AND A LIGHT GROWTH OF BARLEY ALL OVER THE FIELD BUT IT WAS RIPE SO I DECIDED TO HAVE TODAY OFF TO GIVE IT GO AND I MANAGED TO TAKE 39 WHICH IS MY BEST DAY YET IT WAS WORTH A CHANCE HOPE TO HAVE MORE DAYS LIKE THIS BUT I DOUBT I WILL WITH THE SMALL AMOUNT OF PIGEONS THIS FAR DOWN IN CORNWALL

hello all now got a weeks holiday been and caught up with my farm land owner he's been showing me around some drilled fields he done last week in corn is it worth having ago seen a few on there this afternoon and plenty of crows the field is in a long valley with a known flight line through it i want to but will i be wasting my time seeing its been there a week cheers

i like my flock coated shells better than my silosocks i think the birds commit better

all set up for 6.30am shot 4 pigeons and 3 crows by 8.45am and never had another sniff dissapointing really never mind take the rough with the smooth its just nice being out there
