Reloading 410 cartridges

Recommended Posts

Interested in making my own cartridges. Been on Ebay but can't seem to find any 410 reloading machines? Can anyone suggest some sites I can find them? I am led to believe you can save a good amount of money making your own? Any information on this subject would be much appreciated.

eg powders, price, what do you recommend. Shot, where from and how much etc.

Do they do machines which will reload 3inch cartridges also?

cheers

I believe most .410 reloading is done with a rolled turn over tool and powder/ shot scoops.

Claygame reloading will email you the recipes for any gauge of shotgun for £1 or will sell you a CD that relates to all gauges and powders etc.

Get yourself a de/reprimer or make your own. A good investment is a MEC supersizer in .410. You'll need a rolled turnover tool; Claygame has these, and a cheap Chinese bench drill. ( Or a Clarke)

Essential kit: A good set of scales; 5-0-5 is a good buy. A set of Lee scoops. (Tim Hannon)...

... and you're halfway there.
