AlistairB
Hi all, Quick question, i need to take my Parker Hale SBS to a clay shoot this week as a spare gun for some newbies to use. I've had it since new (22 years) but for the life of me i cant remember what the chamber length is. I checked it last night and it had "12 - 70" stamped on the barrel. I'm hoping that means it'll take a 70mm shell although 22 years ago, did people know what mm were!! The other evidence supporting the 'mm' theory is that the proof pressures stamped on the barrel are both metric and imperial. I do have some 2 1/2 inch shells that i could use but i'd prefer to get rid of the remaining 70mm clay loads i've got. Any thoughts? Thanks AB
Andy H
Yes it will take 70mm/2 3/4 cartridges.
