jonno 357
Whats the story behind the "chips" of wood missing ? Has it been stripped down in the past ? They look like large chips Gareth I sure a dealer would take it off your hands at a price Good luck with the sale Jonno
Gareth0689
i don't know how it happened, the dealer i bought it off said the stock was could have been dropped when the gun has been stripped or something could have fallen on to the stock when it was off the gun. The stock is just as solid in the gun, i wouldnt have bought it if it wasn't. I'm not going to 'give it away' to a dealer, i would much rather keep it, i just dont use it anymore as I only shoot trap now and use a s/s on the rare occasions i go rough shooting. Gareth0689
Shame about the stock isn't it ? Jonno It is, everyone that has used the gun liked it, most of them didnt even notice it until i pointed it out
dunganick
its difficult to tell, but i think the stock pretrudes out from the side of the action (as on miroku's and brownings) and if it does extend out enough, it might be possible to work on the stock and remove enough material that the split is removed. just a thought. lovely guns, i had a hold of a friends one, very nicely put together, if not a little tight at the time.
