Please help!!!!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

I've just set up an electric fence around my pheasant pen. I want to hide the battery for the fence under vegetation(in case someone takes it) the out-put lead going from the battery to the fence is not long enough so I got a cable which I tied it onto the electric fence and then attached the red out-put lead to the other end of the cable, will this work? I'm afraid it will drain the battery. The red out-put lead and cable are lying on grass does this matter? I would really appericate a reply asap.

with my pen mate i put the fence unit and battery on the inside they are then under lock and key but an answer to ya question it sgud still work but if laying on the ground and if not sheilded it would ark out thus reducing the voltage goin to the fence i think.

All my fencers and batteries are inside the pens and under an old feed bin or dustbin or such like. Sadly if someone wants them, hiding the unit and battery aint gonna help you one iota.
