thebosun
Anyone have any ideas, when setting up my sight and a good group at 50mtrs, moved off to start shooting it seems to be out a few inches.I have a good ruger 10/22,recently changed my sight from one gun to another. No probs before.Rail sound and original sight moved a little after a while.Checked to see if the rounds were scored at all during cycling but no sign of scoring. kent
unclear what your stuggling with. Is it failing to group? or just impact point changed following scope change? if the latter don't fret just re zero it's the norm

killer_pigeon
your scope may have took a knock and got some damage inside so it wont keep its zero
kent
Only way to solve issues like this is one thing at a time. First clean again everything and realy well, next check all fixings are tight action screws mounts etc, then try another proven scope etc etc. Do not do more than one thing at once or you will never trace the issue
sleekitfox
If you have a moderator fitted, take this off and see if this stabalizes the groupings, sounds to me your moderator is where the problem lies. ATB. Jimmy
Graham M
Take it out of the action and see if the barrel block has come loose. G.M.
