Shoot Placefinder Cards

I am constantly forgetting my peg number and last year I went on a shoot that gave you a card with all your peg numbers / drive numbers on it. You could also note your shots and birds down if you wanted to.

The card was provided by one of the game feed suppliers I think.

Does anyone know where we can get some from please ?

a mate makes them, all depends how many guns you have though and how many pegs you are moving up.

The gun captain should know those facts and its easy to print cards and hand them out as people pull what peg they start on

Yep, we could make them but would be easier to just buy them.

We have a load of old boys who also forget their peg numbers too. Handing out these cards to all the guns at the beginning would save a load of aggro.

Just get yourself a marker pen and write your draw number on the back of your left hand. It will be simple enough to work out where you need to be. Failing that just remember who was on your left and right in the line and just keep slotting in between them.

Or how about this for a better idea, let me have your gun place and you can get beating/get ****** all day long.

it would but it would vary depending on gun numbers basically at the start of the day pull your peg, write the number on a piece of paper then depending how many you go up just write down the sequence of pegs you'll be on and tick them off afterwards. I shoot with a load of senile old ****ers gets very tiring sorting out what peg they are on :hmm:

Tell me about it. We never end up in the same order by the end of the day. The gun captain is normally in the beating line as a walking gun and another chap just plonks himself wherever he feels the most birds are going to come over.

These cards are a better idea all round.
