Grass decoying

I have found a lovely little spot where i shoot which is adjacent to an enormous wheat field. It is pasture for the cows and its right near a huge pile of sileage. The traffic is constant all day and i crouch behind an old dead tree and have cover from the sileage heap. The birds cant resist popping in for a look at the decoys. It makes a change from decoying on the crops and i reckon the birds are more game for a look. I quickly replace the shell decoys with real birds and for the last 3 visits have found more or less constant bird action. Try it on grass it's great!
