To Make a long story a bit shorter.......

Mrs P has a friend who moved into an old marsh mans cottage right out in the wilds on the river in Norfolk no mains electric or water etc but a nice location, they have not been there long and inherited some Pea hens and a cock bird and added some chickens for free range eggs. Anyway a Charlie soon found them and started helping himself to the chickens and then about a week back one of the Pea hens.

Now along side this aspect the little lad of the owner has started wetting his pants and the bed and his mum thinks its the move and the new lifestyle.....

So I get asked to help with the Charlie problem and turn up last nite with a friend for a recky and start discussing the situation with them and the little man is about and picks up on it and mum explains the Fox has to be put to sleep or he will kill all the chickens..... 5 mins later the little lad has wet himself again and said the Fox made him do it! (bless)

So we then set up and by luck around 8pm Charlie comes strolling right towards the hens and a quick click stops him for the shot, its a dog from a litter this year and not a full adult which we had suspected so another trip seems imminent. No others turned up.........

The news was shared with the family and everyone was happy, Pavman and mate got a dozen eggs each and a promise we can get a few duck flights on the owners marsh if we keep the Foxes in check and the icing on the cake the little man had a dry night as mum explained the chickens are now safe!

Not your everyday occurrence but a nice ending to a sorry story..........
